Unicstitch 1058 Summer Angel is a counted cross stitch kit on perforated flexible plastic that produces a shaped hanging ornament. You stitch through pre-punched holes just like fabric, but the shaped base holds its form and becomes the finished piece — no frame, no hoop needed. This angel wears a pink dress embroidered with delicate floral garlands and a black bow in her hair, with soft pink wings and scattered beads adding sparkle to the skirt. The design combines DMC floss in 13 colors, 1 DMC Light Effects metallic thread, 1 DMC Etoile sparkle thread, and Toho glass seed beads — a mixed-media summer cross stitch project with a romantic, pastel palette.

Project Notes
Cross stitch on perforated plastic works the same way as on fabric — each stitch passes through a pre-punched hole. The flexible plastic is durable enough for everyday handling and won't crack if dropped. Once all stitching and beading is done, glue the felt to the back for a clean finish, then thread a cord or ribbon through the built-in loop at the top to hang. Display this angel on a door handle, wall hook, window latch, or small display stand as a summer accent. Part of the Unicstitch four-season angel collection — see also 1053 Spring Angel, 1069 Autumn Angel, and 1085 Winter Angel. Collect all four for a year-round rotating display. A lovely handmade summer gift for angel collectors, seasonal decor lovers, or anyone who enjoys mixed-media needlework.
