Same diameter and length, but Silk Pins are positioned for fine and delicate fabrics — silk, satin, microfibre — where leaving even a small pin mark is a problem. Patchwork Pins are aimed at quilting and patchwork through multiple layers. If you're working with delicate dress fabrics rather than quilt cotton, reach for these.

Will these leave marks in my fabric? The 0.5mm diameter is fine enough that on most fabrics the pin holes close up after removing. On very delicate silks, always test on a scrap first.
