Clover Snag Repair Needles 2512 – Set of 2

A set of 2 steel repair needles with a textured tip that grips loose threads and pulls them through to the wrong side of the fabric — cleanly and invisibly. Useful in two ways: for fixing snags on knitted and woven garments (sweaters, coats, delicate blouses), and for hiding thread ends in embroidery, cross stitch, and sewing projects. Works on cotton, linen, silk, synthetics, and blends.

Two sizes included: the thicker needle for loosely woven and knit fabrics, the finer one for tightly woven or delicate fabrics.

Details:

  • Quantity: 2 needles (1 thick + 1 fine)
  • Point: Fine ballpoint — won't split fabric fibers
  • Material: Steel
  • SKU: 2512
  • Brand: Clover

How to use:

  1. Select the needle size for your fabric — always use the finest needle possible
  2. Insert the needle at the base of the snag, where the pulled thread meets the fabric
  3. Wrap the loose thread around the textured end of the needle
  4. Pull the needle through to the wrong side of the fabric

FAQ:

What's the difference between the two needles? The thicker needle is designed for loosely woven fabrics and knitwear — sweaters, jersey, crochet. The finer needle is for tightly woven or delicate fabrics like silk, voile, or lightweight cotton. When in doubt, start with the finer needle to avoid leaving a visible hole.

Can I use this for embroidery or cross stitch? Yes — and this is where it really shines. When you have short thread tails left on the surface that are too small to thread into a regular needle, this tool pulls them through to the back in one move. No more poking around with a regular needle trying to catch a tiny tail. Works especially well on linen — the tight weave makes hiding ends particularly tricky with a regular needle, and this tool handles it effortlessly. Great for Aida and evenweave too.
