An assorted pack of 4 DMC gold-plated embroidery needles in sizes 1, 3, and 5 — the larger end of the DMC embroidery range, for work with thicker thread combinations. Sharp tip, long eye, 24-carat gold coating. Size 1 is the thickest (for heavy 6-strand work), size 5 is mid-range (for 2–4 strands). All three sizes are also known as crewel needles. The sharp point pierces fabric directly, making these suited for surface embroidery, crewel work, and any technique where you stitch through the fabric rather than between its threads. Works with DMC Diamant, 2–6 strands of Mouliné Spécial, or Coton Perlé Size 5–8. Packaged in a resealable plastic case.
