Project Notes

Cross stitch on wood works just like cross stitch on fabric — each stitch passes through a pair of pre-drilled holes. The design uses cross stitch and backstitch in 14 colors to fill the egg with bright spring flowers in yellow, blue, purple, red, and green. Once stitched, glue the felt backing for a clean reverse, then slot all pieces into the base. With only one egg to stitch, the project stays manageable despite the detailed chart.
